COVID-19 STATUS: Applications for the certification exam are being processed as normal by our examination partner PSI, and testing appointments are currently being scheduled. PSI has over 98% of its sites open with at least 50% capacity and follows federal, state and local guidelines as well as CDC and WHO guidelines.

The ABGC Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC^®) credential is an internationally recognized professional credential for genetic counselors. Professionals who have been awarded the CGC have completed a rigorous academic program, including supervised clinical experience, and have passed the ABGC national certification exam.
