ABGC offers a 100-question online Practice Exam to help you prepare for the examination. The Practice Exam in designed to provide the candidate with a similar test-taking experience as the real exam. Once completed, the candidate receives a performance report that he or she can use for further preparation for the actual certification examination. Doing well on the Practice Exam does not guarantee that you will do well on the real examination.

The cost of the Practice Exam for genetic counselors, including graduates and students, is $55. A group discount is available for multiple copies of the Practice Exam purchased at one time. 

Additionally, examinees may wish to review the ABGC Content Outline, which includes specific details about the content that is included on the examination and at what taxonomy level the knowledge is tested.
