I am honored to serve as the 2026 Nominating Committee chair and excited to introduce this year's committee. Together, we are committed to leading a thoughtful, transparent and inclusive process to identify outstanding nominees for service on the ABGC Board of Directors.

The Nominating Committee has officially begun its work in support of the upcoming ABGC Board of Directors election. Appointed annually by the president, the committee is charged with identifying and recommending highly qualified candidates for Board service. The committee’s structure is designed to balance experience, continuity, diversity of perspectives and fresh voices, helping to ensure a strong and representative slate of nominees for our Diplomate community.
Over the past several months, committee members have reviewed the committee charge, relevant policies and nomination application materials to ensure a shared understanding of the nomination and selection process. The committee has also updated the interview questions that will be used during the nominee interview process. We are currently conducting candidate interviews and are energized by the strong interest and enthusiasm demonstrated by this year’s applicants. Following interviews and deliberations, the committee will present a recommended ballot of nominees to the ABGC Board of Directors for approval before the ballot is released.
This year, ABGC Diplomates will elect two new members to the Board of Directors. We look forward to bringing forward a talented and diverse group of candidates and encourage all Diplomates to participate in this important opportunity to help shape the future leadership of ABGC. We anticipate releasing the election ballot at the end of September and look forward to your engagement in the voting process.
